Gods need a chance to play too.

This is the concept that drives the existence of Revenant. Created by a group of deities and Eldritch beings who wanted a place to play together. Like children with a dollhouse they built themselves a world for all their favorite toys, and now these deitous beings pluck their favorite individuals from the vast number of worlds out of those worlds in which they were created to come live in Revenant.

Placed by Gods themselves there is no way out of Revenant for those chosen to reside here, though of course that doesn't mean some won't search.
