Ever since he was young he'd only be following the training his mistress gave him. It happened in the beginning of his training that he got caught in the act and the humans tortured him. Sometimes he wasn't sure if he feared the magic or the person behind the magic more. What he knew was that they were the enemy and he didn't feel any sorrow for putting them down. He would fight for the safety of his master and is more than willing to steal to provide them with food. Sometimes he can come across indifferent and cold when it comes to killing because he had gotten used to it, and he had thought it was a part of life. While he can perform magic it is very limited as he never had proper training to keep him dependent. So he can just do some basic spells and isn't even allowed to carry a wand. In reality he is a traumatized and broken boy who has been conditioned to believe everyone around him wants him dead. He has trouble trusting people even if he longs for a friend and a place of belonging. Most of the time he tries to hide his fear which often is replaced by anger. There are times when he can go into a blind rage when someone goes too far but it rarely happens. Overall he appears quiet and calm when not threatened or under pressure. If anything he is considered shy and a follower. He rarely talks unless he has too. But when he does he often has trouble getting everything correct because he never learnt to fully master the English language, he cannot read or write. Now he lives with Greyback and his wolves, Lars believes he has been freed and cannot see he just went from one abusive situation to another. Family || His birth family is unknown and Lars doesn't know how the Raven woman acquired him but she told him his parents simply put him in a basket because they didn't want to deal with a werewolf toddler.  The Raven woman: his former master and the one who raised him in a way his mother figure The Greyback pack: Current 'family' Likes || His owl Octavia, bread, the scent of flowers, things that are soft to the touch, chirping of birds Dislikes || Pain, rejection, books (he can't read them), small spaces, humans Personal Information Childhood || Lars was never told the truth of where he came from. Whether his parents abandoned him because he got bitten or his very pregnant mother got attacked and didn’t make it but the baby did are just theories neither might be true. Till this day he doesn’t know who his birth family is (and neither do I). His story starts with a woman named Raven and a baby, a little boy she decided to keep as a pet and train once he became strong enough. The tiny boy received the pet name Lars and has never registered at as well the muggle government as the wizarding one. It was dangerous because not many children this young could survive a werewolf transformation. In fact most children beneath the age of 3 died on their first full moon. However by miracle he managed to survive. It was an investment because in the end she could put in to work. Lars was kept in poor conditions and treated more as a pet than a child. After all he has been a werewolf as long as he can remember and the Raven lady never failed to remind him. He had to earn his keep. Even when it was hard, the woman managed to keep them both alive till the age of six where he had developed enough to train and earn money. It was also to keep them safe because his master seemed to have made a lot of enemies and she was physically able to fight anymore. If she could send him out to kill she didn’t have to risk her own safety. So he'd be trained to continue her work. It was a completely different life than most children had but he didn't know any different. There was one small room, just enough to fit in a bed and open a door where he slept. But there was no bed, instead he slept on jute bags and a few rags. It was also the room the Raven Lady had enchanted so he couldn't break out during a full moon. While this was effective in the beginning, he needed an even more enchanted iron cage which could be locked with a special key. The transformations were hard and he often suffered from injuries he caused himself. Sometimes they took days before he was able to be functioning again. As somewhat of a solution, they started using the wolf as a weapon to wipe out the targets his mistress wanted dead. Because the tracking system of the aurors wasn't that great these days, it could have been any werewolf. As a little boy he couldn’t get himself to kill yet but the wolf didn’t hesitate. School Teenage Years || While he feared humans, he seemed to be more at ease with animals. At the age of 13 he found an owl chick, abandoned and lost. Without telling his mistress, he took the small and hurt animal with him and wanted to make it better. For some reason he felt more empathy for animals than humans. Perhaps because he considered himself an animal. Because a werewolf is only dangerous to humans, he didn't have to fear the animal getting hurt. When going on missions he took the small bird which was resorting to strength and growing with him. Sometimes he took the effort to teach the owl how to hunt and take care of itself. Even when he now often leaves the owl outside and it can survive on its own, many times it flies by to check on Lars. Lars called the owl Octavia as she appeared to be a girl. There are times when the owl even helps by distracting an opponent so Lars can steal some food and goods for his mistress. There have however been a few tasks which he could never forget. There he went to a bookstore because he had to silence the owner of the shop forever. There was a young woman who seemed just a few years older than he was. Because the owner wasn't there yet, he was forced to wait with a strange human. Strangely this woman didn't seem as evil as other human beings did. In fact she was quite kind to him and she even smiled honestly and tried to help him with reading. He never told his master but that time he felt something new, he had been relaxed and quite enjoyed being taught to read (even if only a few letters stuck). Of course there was the frustration that he couldn't do it and stuck with looking at the pictures. But it still was a whole new experience. Sadly the time flew by, the owner passed them by, shot them a look, told the girl to go back to work and moved to his office. It was then when Lars realized that it already almost was time for his transformation and that the execution happened soon. A little bit panicked he told the lady she had to leave this instant, she didn't. She had to clean the shop in the evening when it was closed for customers. Even when Lars yelled at her that she didn't have to be so stubborn. She was a bit startled by the sudden anger which had appeared on the shy boy from before. In the end she smiled and told him things would be all right. There was not much time left. Lars hurried his way to the office, locked the door (even when it won't matter in the end), disarmed his opponent and snapped his wand. From there things went quickly and he already had lost control. The next day he woke up in a devastated bookshop. Blood everywhere and two bodies laying torn all across the shop. To his regret he recognized one of them as the kind lady. That was the first time he felt horrible for what he had done. This was the time he realized that these humans perhaps weren't all too bad and could love and build something. Silently he returned to the place where his mistress stayed, he couldn't get himself to clean the mess like he usually did. For days he locked himself in his room, thinking over what happened. The realization that he might have killed the only kind human. Which he got into a fight with his master about and ended with heavy punishment for daring to bare his teeth and growl against her. There would however be one enemy who got away from the Raven lady. A certain werewolf named Fenrir Greyback who had caught rumours about the Raven’s loyal dog. The old werewolf decided to get two birds in one stone; turn the young wolf against his master and have him kill her to join the pack. He decided to play into something that Raven had already established for him; all humans hate you and are the enemy. Fenrir casually reminded him that this included her. But with the pack he’d be amongst his own kind, he’d have a brotherhood. Thinking he was offered an escape to a better life; the teenager who was already rebelling against his parental figure took the bait. Not realizing that his life wouldn’t change that much. He was the perfect target and didn’t know better. Lars proved his loyalty by killing his kidnapper; this was the first time he killed someone without the turning of the full moon.
