| Basic Information | Name || Andrea "Andie" Travers Birthday || 05/26/1961 Age || 15 Gender || female Blood Status || Pureblood School || Hogwarts House || Ravenclaw Year || 5th
Personality || While Andrea was raised a certain way, and has certain expectations placed upon her, she finds herself constantly disappointing her family. She's not as prim and proper as she's supposed to be and dislikes wearing the tight, figure flattering dresses her mother insists on squeezing her into. She does not have a flattering figure and feels these dresses amplify her weight. She's incredibly self-conscious of the way she looks and although she carries herself with a learned confidence, inside she's screaming to be freed and no one can hear her cries. She takes to food for comfort which becomes a loop, a cycle she cannot break. Every time she disappoints her parents she has to work twice as hard to be better. On the outside, Andrea has to be proper, stoney, cold and not show any weakness because that is how her parents raised her to be. On the inside, she is just a wholesome girl who wants to be loved for exactly who she is with all her flaws and her beauty.

Personal Information
| Childhood || Born, the second child of two notable purebloods who worked in the Department of Transportation, it's not surprising that Andie's childhood involved a lot of travel where she developed a taste for the world and it's delicacies. That surely did not help the large girl to maintain a suitable weight in her mother's eyes and was constantly being forced to watch what she ate or skip desserts when her siblings got to join plenty of them. She recalls constantly being reminded that in order to make an acceptable pureblood match in society she needs to be ravishing and attractive. It's lead to plenty of feelings of self doubt and shyness among other pureblood girls because she looks so different. Beauty pageants were a thing in Andie's life. Beauty pageants she's never won. Cotillion as well where she's been forced into every sort of itchy fabric and frilly dress imaginable and never able to bring any sort of pride to her parents for her shortcomings as a daughter. No matter how hard she tries, she finds herself becoming more and more reclusive and withdrawn from her family who don't even notice the affects their unrealistic expectations have upon their daughter. She finds her only solace is in books or the garden which she is allowed to maintain. Needless to say, her childhood was very lonesome until she arrived at Hogwarts. School Years || Andrea is sorted into Ravenclaw when she arrives at Hogwarts at eleven years old. Her parents are all right with this. It's not Slytherin but it's better than Hufflepuff or Gryffindor and they let this shortcoming slide. She's actually quite happy to be sorted into Ravenclaw. The house of brains, logic, intelligence and while she doesn't feel as if she's any of those things, she knows (or hopes) the people in her house will be nicer than the pureblood children she has grown up with over the years. She's hopeful there will be less cruelty thrown at her because of her appearance. While kids are still cruel, Andie is right about Ravenclaw. Most of her housemates are too focused on their studies to notice Andie's different appearance and she's relieved enough that she seems content. Except when she doesn't perform well in classes. When she's put on the spot she freezes and can't do the magic she's perfectly capable of on her own. Her self consciousness and insecurities leave her with a lot of stage fright and the letters home to her parents result in cruel words on how she is expected to do better and even an imbecile can perform a simple levitation charm. They don't understand the trauma that have placed upon her over the years. Andie gets through her school years. Sometimes she is bullied. Sometimes she is ignored. She prefers being ignored. The bullying is usually by other purebloods. Half-bloods and muggleborns don't bother too much with her in that sense because she's a Travers and everyone knows the name is a rather powerful one. Mess with Andrea Travers and that floo network their dad wants might not happen. Life it tit for tat and people know that, even at a young age. Despite hating it all, Andie knows she is expected to be friends with the other pureblood kids and she puts up a good front of doing so. She finds some solace in a few of her classmates. Regulus is nice enough, even if his older brother is one who often teases her. And her dormmate Vanitas is quite nice. Puberty has not been kind to Andie. She's developed busty and bigger than the other girls and it's only done more damage. Adulthood || at least 100 words. |
